Management of spare parts, tools, recording data about equipment and property including maintenance activities, scheduling jobs, assigning personnel, reserving materials, recording costs, and tracking relevant information are the essential activities that a company should be taken care of. LG, one of the most formidable brands was facing all these hardships.
To avoid fail over situation, resources were allocated to take care of maintenance service. It became too sturdy for the maintenance department to handle all these resources & it resulted in loss due to shutdown of machineries & replacements of equipments due to negligence in maintenance services. These all resulted increase in overheads associated with maintenance & services.

To provide an optimum solution for maintaining a computer database of information about an organization’s maintenance operations. Further they require a system that keeps an eye on maintenance & services of machineries & other equipments. The system should be capable to produce status reports and documents giving details or summaries of maintenance activities.

After understanding & analyzing the requirement, we provided a unique and efficient solution that acts as a centralized storage of information consisting of historical maintenance and repair information.
We developed an effective computerized maintenance management system that was intended to reduce the downtime of machineries and help workers to do their job more efficiently. The application has a set of graphical reports which helps the management to analyze various aspects of machine maintenance.
THE TECHNOLOGY
Our approach towards the technology was started after deep analysis of the requirement. After intensive research, we created a software requirement specification document for the non-tech employees and get them to understand the flow of the application.
This technique was fruitful and then the wire frames are converted into a web based application using Microsoft .NET.
